Construction Update
The Perle
June 2026
About the Project
The Perle Apartments will be a seven-story, 203,320-square-foot, market-rate community in Bellevue, featuring 230 residential units. The project comprises two residential towers connected at the ground level by a shared community space and an outdoor plaza.
The homes will offer a variety of layouts, including studios, open one-bedrooms, traditional one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and select two-story studios and two-bedroom lofts located on the ground floor.
Amenities will include two rooftop club rooms with outdoor BBQ stations and fire pits, a coworking flex space, a fully equipped fitness center, and an interior landscaped courtyard with plentiful seating and additional fire features. The development will also provide two dog-run areas, two levels of subterranean parking, and a street-facing palazzo with outdoor furnishings designed to encourage community use and engagement.
Scheduled completion date is Q4 2027
Construction Update – June 2026
Construction at The Perle continues to make strong progress as both residential towers advance toward major structural milestones. June will be an exciting month as the South Tower approaches roof framing, the North Tower continues climbing to upper levels, and preparations begin for exterior building finishes.
What’s Happening This Month
- Window preparation work will begin, setting the stage for window deliveries expected in early July.
- The South Tower is expected to complete all unit wood framing and begin roof joist installation by the end of the month.
- The North Tower will continue advancing upward, with Level 7 wall construction anticipated to begin later this month.
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) trades will continue rough-in work throughout the building.
- Interior framing activities will continue on residential units, townhomes, and common areas, including the main lobby.
- Permanent power infrastructure installation is underway along 106th Pl NE in coordination with Puget Sound Energy.
- A second construction manlift will be installed later this month to support continued vertical construction activities.
What Neighbors May Notice
Neighbors may continue to see increased construction activity during normal working hours, including:
- Wood framing and roof construction operations
- Utility and infrastructure installation work
- Construction deliveries and material staging
- Equipment movement throughout the site
- Ongoing activity from multiple trade partners as work progresses through the building
Traffic & Safety Reminder
Temporary traffic impacts related to Puget Sound Energy’s permanent power installation will remain in effect through July 3.
Weekday closures from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM include:
- Closure of a portion of 106th Pl NE near the project site
- Temporary eastbound lane reductions on NE 12th Street
Roadways will reopen at the end of each workday and remain open during evenings and weekends. Traffic control personnel and signage will be onsite to help maintain safe access for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Additional congestion may occur near 106th Pl NE and NE 12th Street as construction traffic, deliveries, and utility work continue. We kindly ask community members to follow posted signage and directions from traffic control staff.
Updates regarding any road or lane closures will continue to be communicated directly to neighbors and posted on The Perle website.
We appreciate the community’s continued patience and support as construction progresses.
We apologize for any inconveniences throughout the construction process. The safety of all employees, neighbors and the general public is our number one priority. Please be aware of changing conditions in the public right-of-way as sidewalk and street conditions are ever changing. Heavy equipment is entering and exiting the jobsite regularly. Please be aware of your surroundings and help us keep this project safe and free of injury.
Thank you.
