About the Project

Altaire at Jackson Park will be a 9 story, 186,683 square foot, 207-unit Affordable Housing (LIHTC) project in NE Seattle. Featuring a unit mix of studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom, there will also be common laundry areas on every floor, a community room for private parties, family events and community gathering, a central courtyard equipped with an outdoor sink, two barbeques and moveable tables, a landscaped community garden and an outdoor naturalistic play area, including a slide mound and plenty of seating. There will be 32 parking stalls onsite.

Scheduled completion date is Q1 2026

Scheduled Work

Concrete work at Altaire at Jackson Park is progressing rapidly, marking significant milestones in the project’s development. We recently poured the basement slab on Monday, the 3rd, initiating full-scale concrete operations. By the end of this month, we anticipate completing all basement concrete walls.

The project is truly taking shape, with concrete being poured on a large scale. This week, we poured the basement floor slab and basement footings, initiating the main concrete scope for the project. Excavation work is ongoing on the west side of the site to prepare deeper footings for reinforcing and eventual pouring. Simultaneously, we are commencing work on the basement walls while preparing the west portion of Level 1. Once this phase is complete, it will conclude the foundation work for the building.

Planned Street Interruptions

Attention commuters: Please note that we have temporarily reduced 15th Ave to one lane in the southbound direction during periods of increased activity at our construction site. As we proceed with concrete work, there will be pour days with concrete placing trucks and concrete trucks staged as necessary. This may result in minor delays as they travel to and from the site. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

We kindly ask all neighbors to exercise caution while walking around the site and to bear with us as we progress with this necessary construction activity. Rest assured, we are committed to minimizing any disruptions and will make every effort to ensure that construction activities do not disturb residents during quiet hours

We apologize for any inconveniences throughout the construction process. The safety of all employees, neighbors and the general public is our number one priority. Please be aware of changing conditions in the public right-of-way as sidewalk and street conditions are ever changing. Heavy equipment is entering and exiting the jobsite regularly. Please be aware of your surroundings and help us keep this project safe and free of injury.

Thank you.
