About the Project

Altaire at Jackson Park will be a 9 story, 186,683 square foot, 207-unit Affordable Housing (LIHTC) project in NE Seattle. Featuring a unit mix of studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom, there will also be common laundry areas on every floor, a community room for private parties, family events and community gathering, a central courtyard equipped with an outdoor sink, two barbeques and moveable tables, a landscaped community garden and an outdoor naturalistic play area, including a slide mound and plenty of seating. There will be 32 parking stalls onsite.

Scheduled completion date is Q1 2026

Scheduled Work

On the site of Altaire at Jackson Park, we are expecting to have all our windows installed by the end of January. We have started roofing and are aiming to have the upper roof fully complete by the end of the month as well; this is a huge milestone for getting us dried-in with the window scope finishing around the same time. The installation of the doors for the garage and trash entry will soon be underway which will be a big milestone for security and closing in the exterior. The job is progressing nicely, and we are pushing towards the common goal of drying in the building and moving onto the next stage of construction.

Planned Street Interruptions

Our frontage on 15th Avenue will continue to be busy throughout the workday with equipment parked in the lane closure and fielding deliveries. Temporary asphalt has been poured to allow for easier site deliveries however, please still expect lane closures. Drivers coming southbound on 15th Avenue should expect minor delays as the day progresses, and on heavy delivery days there may be a need to stop traffic briefly on the northbound side of 15th as well to allow trucks to swing and back in. We will work to keep these disruptions brief so there is minimal impact to commuters.

We apologize for any inconveniences throughout the construction process. The safety of all employees, neighbors and the general public is our number one priority. Please be aware of changing conditions in the public right-of-way as sidewalk and street conditions are ever changing. Heavy equipment is entering and exiting the jobsite regularly. Please be aware of your surroundings and help us keep this project safe and free of injury.

Thank you.
