We are uniquely positioned to efficiently and effectively create new affordable units in high barrier to entry markets because of our ability to pair innovative deal structuring with our beginning-to-end development and construction process. Successful affordable housing projects depend on cost control and understanding the unique capital markets, which we bring to the table.
SRM is focused on the creation and preservation of units ranging between 50% and 120% of the area median income in the western United States. We utilize 4% low income housing tax credits and tax exempt bonds for our 50% to 60% AMI projects and work with impact investors/corporations for our 80% to 120% AMI workforce projects.
We handle the full development cycle including site selection, entitlements, public funding applications, tax credit execution and construction. We strive to create high quality developments in accessible locations that provide value to the existing fabric of the surrounding community.
