Construction Update
The Perle
March 2026
About the Project
The Perle Apartments will be a seven-story, 203,320-square-foot, market-rate community in Bellevue, featuring 230 residential units. The project comprises two residential towers connected at the ground level by a shared community space and an outdoor plaza.
The homes will offer a variety of layouts, including studios, open one-bedrooms, traditional one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and select two-story studios and two-bedroom lofts located on the ground floor.
Amenities will include two rooftop club rooms with outdoor BBQ stations and fire pits, a coworking flex space, a fully equipped fitness center, and an interior landscaped courtyard with plentiful seating and additional fire features. The development will also provide two dog-run areas, two levels of subterranean parking, and a street-facing palazzo with outdoor furnishings designed to encourage community use and engagement.
Scheduled completion date is Q4 2027
Scheduled Work
The Perle project continues to make strong progress and has reached several key milestones. March will be an especially active month on site as we complete the remaining concrete work and prepare for the next phase of construction.
The final Level 1 (L1) deck pour was completed on Tuesday, March 3.
The Level 2 south deck is scheduled to be poured on Tuesday, March 10.
One of the two Level 3 transfer decks is currently scheduled to be poured near the end of March.
Preparation for the second and final Level 3 transfer deck will also take place toward the end of March, with the pour anticipated in early April. Wood framing is expected to begin shortly afterward.
In addition to vertical construction, crews are continuing work on site utilities and infrastructure. Current activities include driveway utility work and preparation for subgrading and paving of the driveway area on the south side of the site, which we expect to complete by the end of the month.
Utility work is also progressing in and around the street, including trench drain installation at the loading dock area and completion of special utility vaults along the westbound side of NE 12th St. These efforts are part of our ongoing work to finalize utility connections as early as possible.
Overall, the project is entering an exciting phase as the structure continues to rise and we transition toward wood framing and the eventual structural topping out.
Planned Street Interruptions
Under normal operations, deliveries and hauling are restricted to our on-site haul road running parallel to NE 12th St. During working hours, one lane of NE 12th St is closed and reopened after work hours. We also utilize limited curb space and roadway area on 106th Pl NE.
Typically, 106th Pl NE remains open to through traffic during the day. If a temporary closure is required, we will work to reopen the roadway as soon as the work is complete.
Drivers should expect some congestion in these areas as traffic is funneled through available lanes. Please follow all posted signage and directions from traffic control personnel.
Any closures of 106th Pl NE or NE 12th St will be communicated directly to nearby neighbors and posted in the Traffic section of the Perle website.
We apologize for any inconveniences throughout the construction process. The safety of all employees, neighbors and the general public is our number one priority. Please be aware of changing conditions in the public right-of-way as sidewalk and street conditions are ever changing. Heavy equipment is entering and exiting the jobsite regularly. Please be aware of your surroundings and help us keep this project safe and free of injury.
Thank you.
